History of Crestwood Animal Shelter

 Our mission is to enrich the lives of both animals and people throughout our community. Our animal shelter is a non-profit, 100% volunteer-run, no-kill animal rescue organization serving Crestwood, MO and the surrounding areas. We take our convictions and turn them into action, promoting spay and neutering to end the suffering of overpopulation and unwanted animals.

Our shelter, located in Whitecliff Park, is an independent, nonprofit, no-kill adoption center for cats and kittens. 

We no longer have dogs for adoption.

The shelter is run by the volunteers of Friends of Animal Control and Rescue (FOACAR), a Crestwood, Missouri based 501c(3) organization dedicated to the care and welfare of animals.  

FOACAR does business as (dba) Crestwood Animal Shelter.
