  For immediate, life-threatening animal emergencies (e.g., severe injury, dangerous loose animal) in St. Louis County, contact St. Louis County Animal Control at 314-615-0650 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm, weekends 10am-4pm).

  For urgent situations after 5:00 pm or on weekends, contact:

  • Dead Animal Removal:  St, County does not pick up dead animals on private property; only in public right-of-ways.
